Why the Christmas Post Workshop exists
We are a small family business from Lake Starnberg, in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps in Germany. Our granddaughter and her little sister are the reason this workshop exists.
Our granddaughter fell ill with leukaemia when she was very small. Throughout her long journey with the illness, she was cared for on the children's cancer ward at Dr. von Hauner Children's Hospital in Munich, with so much love, compassion and kindness.
She was also the very first child to receive a letter from our workshop. Santa knew how much she loves to sing and dance, and how proud he is of her.
€2 from every letter for children with cancer
For every letter we post, we give €2 (or $2 for letters to the United States) to the children's cancer ward Intern 3 at Dr. von Hauner Children's Hospital in Munich. The money goes to the parents' association that supports families on the ward. After the season we transfer the full amount and show the receipt on this page.

How we work
Our workshop writes every letter with the help of AI, using what you tell us about your child. You read it before you pay and can change your answers until it feels just right. Our AI never sees names or addresses; they are added only when the letter is printed. Letters to Ireland are printed in Germany, letters to the United States are printed in the US, and both are delivered by the local post.
We are happy to answer any questions at hello@littleelfpost.com.
