Terms and conditions

As of 5 November 2026

1. Scope and who we are

These terms apply to all orders placed on the English pages of littleelfpost.com. Your contract partner is Consensus Ventures GmbH, Maxstraße 11, 82335 Berg, Germany, registered at the Local Court of Munich (Amtsgericht München) under HRB 284132, represented by its managing director Thomas Huhn, email hello@littleelfpost.com.

We send letters by post to addresses in Ireland and in the United States. We sell the 24 elf notes as a PDF to customers who live in the European Union or in the United States. Gift vouchers can be bought from anywhere.

2. What we offer

We write personalised letters from Santa, print them and send them by post. We also offer 24 elf notes as a PDF to print at home and gift vouchers. What a product includes is described on its product page.

An AI writes the letter based on what you tell us. You read the finished letter in a free preview before you order, and you can change your details, edit the text yourself or ask for a new version. We print the text from your last preview, with the names you entered.

The products shown on the website are not yet a binding offer.

3. How the contract is made

When you click “Order and pay”, you make a binding offer. We then take you to our payment provider Stripe. The contract is made as soon as you complete the payment with Stripe. We confirm it by email.

If a gift voucher covers the full amount, the contract is made when you click “Order with voucher”.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are final prices. For orders to Ireland you pay in euro, and the price includes German VAT. For orders to the United States you pay in US dollars. Postage is always included, there are no extra charges.

You pay through Stripe with one of the payment methods shown there, for example card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal.

5. Printing, posting and our arrival promise

We print your letter on the working day after your order or on the day you choose, and post it on the same day. Letters to Ireland are printed in Germany and usually take three to seven working days. Letters to the United States are printed in the United States and sent by USPS First-Class Mail, which usually takes three to five working days.

Arrival promise: if you order before the deadline shown on littleelfpost.com/deadlines for your country and the letter does not arrive by 24 December, we refund the full price after a short message to hello@littleelfpost.com. The promise does not cover orders placed after the deadline or delays caused by a wrong or incomplete address.

We send the 24 elf notes and gift vouchers by email straight after payment.

6. Your details

Please make sure that names and address are correct and that you may tell us about the child, for example as a parent or with the parents' consent. Orders are placed by adults; children may not order. Please do not enter anything offensive or unlawful or anything that infringes the rights of others. We may refuse such orders and refund the amount.

7. Gift vouchers

A gift voucher is good for one letter from Santa, in Ireland and in the United States, whatever the price there. You can redeem one voucher per order. It is valid until 31 December 2029 and cannot be exchanged for cash. To make sure the letter arrives in time, the usual order deadlines apply.

8. Your right to cancel

As a consumer you have a right to cancel as set out in our cancellation policy. Letters written and printed from your details are made to your specifications, so there is no right to cancel them. We give the same right to cancel to customers in the United States. The details are in the cancellation policy.

9. Faults

Your statutory rights apply. If a letter was printed wrongly or arrives damaged, write to us at hello@littleelfpost.com. We will print it again or refund the price.

10. Liability

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are only liable if we breach an essential contractual duty, meaning a duty you can normally rely on, and only up to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract.

11. Contract text and language

The contract language is English. We store your order. With the order confirmation you receive these terms and the cancellation policy as a PDF. The current version is always available at littleelfpost.com/terms.

12. Disputes and applicable law

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

German law applies. If you are a consumer, this only applies as far as it does not take away the protection of mandatory rules of the country where you live.
